After the great success of two editions of the festival and due to the fact that the participants and visitors wanted it to become an annual event, this year it is going to be the 3rd edition of Burgas Wine Fest.

The aim of the festival is to promote the richness and diversity of flavors of the different brands of wine and spirits among a wide circle of users, as well as among business owners, hoteliers, and restaurateurs from Burgas, Bulgaria as well as around the world.
What is the theme of Burgas Wine Festival 2016?
This year the theme of Burgas Wine Festival is the white grape variety Chardonnay. In order to chose the best Chardonnay Bulgarian National Vine and Wine Chamber will organize a competition with a professional jury. The winner will receive the award of "Chardonnay of Burgas Wine Festival 2016".
All the participating wines will be presented to the wine-loving audience in the contest named "Consumer Choice".
What is going to be at Burgas Wine Fest 2016?
You will have an excellent opportunity and unique chance being first to try out the best wines of Bulgaria (according to the largest competition for independent wine and spirits - Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2016). For the first time, the Bulgarian wineries-winners of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2016 will present their winning wines to all wine-lovers at Wine Fest Burgas 2016. The 23rd edition of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Plovdiv, Bulgaria (April 29 – May 1st) was a terrific success of the host - Bulgaria, Plovdiv. According to the results of the competition, Bulgarian wineries won the record amount of medals - 109, among which 4 Grand Gold medals (for the first time), 47 Gold and 58 Silver medals.
In the gourmet area, you will taste the traditional meat and dairy products as well as delicatessen from the leading food producers.
It is expected that more than 30 Bulgarian producers, traders, and importers to present more than 200 elite wines.
Interesting Master classes and remarkable tastings
The Bulgarian and foreign experts will cover the following topics: "Chardonnay", "Wine regions and wine tourism in Bulgaria", "The best Bulgarian wines from local grape varieties of 2016" and others.
There will be a master class on bread making, where the secret of traditional Bulgarian bread recipe and the bread-making process will be revealed. All that and much more will allow you to experience the ancient Bulgarian traditions.
