The Eolis Winery is located near the village of Malko Gradishte in the Lyubimets PDO region, in the outskirts of the Eastern Rhodope.

The project EOLIS began in 2005 when eight wine grape varieties were replanted in an area of 3 hectares. The clay based soil allows developing rich and complex wines. The region is one of the sunniest in Bulgaria. However, the daily summer heat is attenuated by the refreshing caress of the Rhodope mountains breeze in the evening. The contrast between day-to-day and nightly temperatures ensures perfect conditions for a slow and optimal grape maturation. To extract the quintessence of this terroir, the modern viticultural approach has been applied to the establishment of the vineyard (plants selection, high-density planting, training method, etc.) and to the meticulous grape growing practices (cutting, low-yield and maturity control, hand-harvesting, etc.). The wines EOLIS coming exclusively from that fascinating terroir.

The EOLIS Winery invites you on a sensorial journey into the South East of Bulgaria, to discover this region rich in ancestral traditions and in natural beauty, where vines have been cultivated for more than 4,000 years.
