Sintica Winery is a modern combination between tradition and innovation. Within the complex are preserved many rare and exotic plant species-Ginkobiloba, Parnar, olives, cypresses, palms, citrus trees, Persimmon and others. The landscape has not changed, just a new construction has been built in this truly harmonious botanical garden. Built as a classical mansion cellar, including also the production of elite wines and opportunities for wine tourism, recreation and business meetings, the complex is completed by a new spa-hotel adjacent to it with two swimming pools and recreation area. Next, under the shadow of the golden Persimmon a small congress center with offices and conference facilities has been built.
Sintica winery has 325 acres. own vineyards (175 acres of which are created now) of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Early Melnik grape using the French elite planting material. Vineyards are located in the territory of the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica.This is Sintica’s reference to history-it existed in the third century BC, and very close to the picturesque and magnificent area of Rupite. 2008 is the first year of the new history of the Winery Sintica. From the previous winery the only thing preserved is the unique underground cellar for storage and aging of wines, with a constant natural temperature of 14 º C and natural ventilation of air. It has a capacity of eight hundred casks of the type "barriques" and in its walls there is a built-in niche for maturation of wines in bottles. The winery is built with the participation of leading Bulgarian and Italian designers and companies. It is a completely new and modern complex with a growing capacity for about 500 000 liters of wine. The complex consists of a partially covered compartment for the primary wine equipped with function of inox fermenters and modern Italian machines and components, covered compartment for storage, processing and stabilization of wine, with modern Italian machinery and vessels of inox with different volume, physical -- chemical laboratory, a bottling plant, a tasting room.
