Villa Terres is a wine and spa tourism complex. The complex is located in the southern part of the village Karabunar, 8 km from the motorway exit "Trakia" on the way to Velingrad. The area is famous for its rich cultural and historical heritage. Karabunar is a village associated with the Thracian - Roman era. Through the village, there was an old Roman road called central or diagonal that came from Belgrade and embarked towards Constantinople. Villa Terres Hotel is an inseparable part of the complex, which offers traditional and international cuisine and cosy atmosphere.
Winery Villa Terres was built and put into operation in 2013. The capacity of the winery is 100 tons of grapes processed in strict compliance with internationally recognized techniques and practices for wine production and use of high enological products. Grapes are grown and observed until the right moment to harvest . During the annual campaign each cluster is selected and processed manually, then the liquid enters the appropriate court for fermentation. A team of proven professionals handles the wine production process through all stages of fermentation and aging.
Château Burgozone is one of the few Bulgarian wineries located in immediate proximity to their own vineyards. It is perched on the very bank of the Danube River, over the picturesque island of Esperanto, it bears the name and the spirit of the Roman fortress which was situated on the border of the vineyard complex and provided protection to the Roman Empire from the North.
Winery "Wine Union" is specialized in producing high-quality white, red and rosé wines. They have our own laboratory, fermentation room and bottling workshop. Their wine-cellar is located underground with an area of 500 sq. m.. The temperature in the wine cellar is always between 12 and 14 degrees centigrade for the best storage of both barrels and wine. They equipped their winery with modern wine production technology - Bulgarian, as well as Italian.
Rumelia wine cellar was established in 2006 in the town of Panaguriste. One of the most valuable symbols of the town is the world known Panaguriste golden treasure – a unique monument of the ancient Thracian civilization. The Thracians were known as famous and crafty wine makers, a witness of which was Omir. We do appreciate the proven traditions of the past in the art and secrecy of wine making and combine it with modern equipment and technology in order to propose own style and distinguished character of our wines.
The wine-makers from Bessa Valley are inspired by this place as much as the Bessians were 2500 years ago.
Now they are the Bessians! It is their destiny to grow the vines of the Valley and make great wine from their fruit year after year.
Everything is done with the greatest respect for nature, the people, the vines and its fruit.
Bratanov Winery is a small family-run project – the result of the hard work and devotion of a father and his sons, who have set out the honorable mission to restore the ancestral tradition. The foundations were set in 2006 with planting the 24 ha of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Rubin, Chardonnay and Tamianka.
Midalidare Restaurant has 40 seats indoor and additional 60 seats in the summer garden. It offers the warm and cozy atmosphere that is suitable for family, romantic and friendly gatherings. The Vintage restaurant is open not only for hotel guests but also for Winery visitors that have decided to combine wine tasting with delicious cuisine. From the Wine List you will be able to choose from white, red and rosé wines produced by Midalidare Estate as well as limited series that are offered only at the restaurant.
Midalidare Estate is a project of the Kazakhstani businessman Eugene Yusupov. Although he is not living in Bulgaria himself, his love for history, good wine and beautiful nature made him invest in Mogilovo village. A few years later and many more hours of hard labor transformed Midalidare into attractive destination for wine tourism.
